Michael Coulson is a filmmaker, creative director and artist with experience working in all forms of digital and analog media. A lot of his work is a collaboration with people from varied disciplines: artists, scientists, musicians – people who are driven by a passion for what they do and who want to make a difference. Michael’s work for his company, Three Humans Inc, has earned him a reputation for originality, excellence and innovation in visual storytelling for clients such as the BBC and National Geographic, and non-profit organizations such as World Wildlife Fund, ACLU, Greenpeace, and the United Nations. He has received awards and accolades from all sections of the entertainment industry, including Bafta and Grammy nominations, the Milia D’or Grand Prize at Cannes for his work with musician Peter Gabriel, and the Gold CASE award for educational media. Michael is the sole proprietor of his company Three Humans Inc, an S Corp founded in 2002. Michael is a resident of the United States.
Axel Baumann is a Cinematographer who works for both the major television and networks and for Non Profit organizations and has received some of his industries highest awards. Axel was the director of photographer on Michael’s National Geographic documentary, Songs under a Big Sky, filmed in the UK, Italy, and Africa. In 2005, Axel received his first Emmy nomination for Liberia: An Uncivil War, directed by Jonathan Stack and broadcasted on Discovery/Times. In 2008, Axel was awarded an Emmy for Carrier, a 10-part series for PBS on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, produced by Icon Films and directed by Maro Chermayeff. Recently Axel completed cinematography on Herb and Dorothy, an audience award winner at Silverdocs released by Arthouse Films, as well as a biography on Thomas Jefferson for the History Channel. His most recent project is War against War, a film on UN Peacekeeping directed by Oscar winner Fisher Stevens.
Jeffrey Chong is a Digital Media Expert who works at the forefront of new developments in technology. Jeffrey has a background in both the arts and sciences. He is a cinematographer, an expert on editing software, motion graphics and delivery of content for mobile apps and other digital applications. Jeffrey works with Michael to create original and visionary digital content, as well as overseeing all areas of production, and ensuring the quickest turnaround and highest production standards.
Deborah Dickson is an award winning film maker best known for documentary features Ruthie and Connie: Every Room in the House, and Oscar nominated LaLee’s Kin: The Legacy of Cotton. Deborah Dickson is a visiting professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Awards include: Gold Hugo; Grand Prize, Amsterdam Film Festival; Best Cinematography, Sundance Film Festival; Best Documentary, Seattle International and Nashville festivals; Emmy; Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award; Peabody Award; ACE Award
Michael Brook is a Canadian, Golden Globe® and Grammy® nominated composer. His music career began as a recording artist, guitar player, producer and collaborator, working with artists such as Brian Eno, David Sylvian, and Nusrat Fateh, Ali Khan. Among the films that he has scored are Brooklyn, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, The Fighter, Into The Wild, Chavez, An Inconvenient Truth, and the Oscar winning documentary, Undefeated.
